I am not a believer in daily homework. Not all work we do in school easily translates to an at-home task. Teachers are only supposed to assess work that they observe the child doing directly, so that means that homework cannot be assessed for marks. Most importantly, make sure your child reads their home reading book and returns it daily to get another one. By far, this is the most valuable way you can spend time with your child and positively influence their achievement. Play board and card games for a fun way to practice math skills.
